There can be miracle

It's funny that i only update my blog during my busy period...

Anyway, i just want to thank God for His miracle that happened today during work.
To cut the story short (as i'm really quite sleepy now...), i was told to finish up profit/loss section for 4 entities + tidy up other sections within 4 days. My jaw almost dropped when i saw the to-do list, i seriously doubt i can finish it.

While i was stressed out and trying to do my best to do my work, i found out that someone actually already finished up one of the entities weeks before, and another colleague came and told me that the manager already reviewed another entity so no further work need to be done. MEANS i only need to do 2 entities!!! What a HUGE relief... Work being cut into half just within a morning!

Then I was reminded about a sermon 2 sundays ago about how to deal with stress, is to totally surrender to His will, and trust Him completely. For His way is higher than our ways, so many things happened around me that i still don't quite understand. But if i continue to surrender, and walk according to His way as He continue to show me step by step, i know all things will turn out to be alright. Thank You Lord, for You are indeed my God that i love ^^

I miss Melbourne Part 2

I miss Melb Uni OCF.
I miss everyday Friday night 7pm go to North Dining Hall in Melb Uni Union house to attend OCF.
I miss attending the prayer meet before OCF.
I miss the bible study within CG.
I miss CG retreat.
I miss OCF Victoria Easter Camp.
I miss Melb Uni July Camp.
I miss OCF Australia convention.
I miss the camp fire.
I miss seeing lots of OCFers got touched and changed by God.
I miss the sharing, the love, the concerned poured by the brothers and sisters in Christ in OCF.
I miss OCF friends. (REALLY MISS THEMMMMMMMM)
I miss Jeri-Uni prayer walk. (prayer walk around Melb Uni, something like Jerico walk. Yes we walked 7 times around uni during our 7th time prayer walk. And we did SHOUT hahaha... really crazy...)
I miss the craziness of singing praise and worship songs in the middle of Uni.
I miss coffee ministry.
I miss pushing the whole big pile of hot water from Architecture building to Ballieau Library for coffee ministry.
I miss baking muffins/cakes/cookies to bless the OCFers.
I miss the young, passionate, fearless OCF members who stand up for Christ.
I miss the talented yet humble OCF worship team.
I miss prayer meet until 5am in this small little room in Arrow Heights with a few brothers/sisters who have BIG BIG heart for Uni students.
I miss playing all the crazy games/sabo in camps.
I miss cooking and preparing food for Malaysia national day celebration and lots of CG "pot-bless" (coz we don't believe in "luck")

I miss Melbourne

Let me talk about the food first.
I miss Lygon street, the Italian restaurant street, with lots of yummy authentic italian pasta, pizza and Gelato ice-cream (esp. roche ice-cream!!)
I miss Chinatown, where you can get lots of nice and oily food eg. A1, K.O.K., Supper Inn, Shanghai Dumpling, Dessert House, Nam Long 1 and 2, Shark Fin House's Dim Sum and etc.
I miss Victoria St authentic Korean restaurant (esp. the Hot pot and the Kimchi!! so niceeee..)
I miss Elizabeth St Mala Steamboat.
I miss the Stalatite Greek restaurant near QV (it's very meaty, guys will love it)
I miss Hungry Jacks along Swanston st that open til 4am (hehehe)
I miss Melb Uni Union house' sushi (salmon onigir!!)
I miss Breadtop greentea cake.

Next, groceries shopping. Overseas students in Melb Uni are very slack ppl, esp commerce students who only have 12 contact hours per week (that's me). So what will they do during their free time then? Lepak in groceries store. My favourite place? Safeway in QV......
I miss buying $1.80 Tim Tam, and the excitement of seeing the offer lol...
I miss searching recipe on the net, printed out the list, and went to safeway for the beginning of the adventure... of cooking new dish... well, most of the time, it was successful, except tiramisu and Loh Mee...
I miss sms-ing my good friends when i saw some offers in Safeway.
I miss using the Safeway enviromental-friendly green bag.
I miss buying LOTS of chewing-gum.
I miss shopping with my sister and friends in Safeway.
I miss bumping into my friends in Safeway (that's why i told u most of us like to hang out there hahaha)
I miss buying fruit juice.
I miss buying $1.98 bread.
I miss buying Betty-Crockers brownies ready-to-bake pack (oops... now u know why my brownies so nice hehehe)
I miss buying super cheap Indo Mee instant noodles.

Wah, i'm so tired of writing... had a long day today...
