It's actually "What did we eat for dinner in Penang" part 2.
Well tonight, we (daddy, 2 uncles, 2 girl cousins, 4 guy cousins and myself) went to eat Beef Steamboat. Yes, there's no other meat, only beef (except the wanton).
What did we order?
- 4 plates of beef balls
- 2 plates of beef slices
- 1 plate of ox-tail (it's the best part of the moo!!)
- 2 plates of vege
- 1 plate of "ngau bak yip" (the moo's stomach)
- 1 plate of fried wanton (the only "non-moo" food)
- 1 plate of cow-brain omelette (did i hear anyone say "eeeeewwwww"?)
- 1 plate of koay teow
- 1 plate of noodles
- don't know how many bowls of rice (lost count)
- drinks
How much? I don't want to know.
I need to exercise again.
Welcome to a Penangite's life.
Oh, something to really thank God for. For the first time in my family gathering, Christians are the majority. WOOOHOOO!!! Praise God!! ^^

What did we eat for dinner in Penang
CRAZY.
It's CRAZY x 1,000.
My uncle and cousin came down from Singapore to Penang for holiday, so just now my dad brought them and myself to eat mamak for dinner. The name of the mamak is Kapitan, which is very famous for its tandoori chicken.
(note: cousin = 14 year-old boy)
4 of us, 3 guys 1 girl, had ordered and FINISHED:
- 4 plates of Tandoori chicken (1/4 chicken each plate) with 4 naan.
- 1 claypot chicken biryani (another 1/4 chicken with the rice)
- 2 roti canai (or roti prata for singaporeans)
- 1 beef curry
- 1 lamb curry
- 1 mee goreng
- 1 roti tisu
- 3 teh tarik
- 2 coke
How much in total? RM52 (my Singapore uncle was screaming: CHHHEEEAAAPPPP!!!!)
My post-dinner effect:
- Garlic breath (I ordered garlic-cheese naan)
- Couldn't sleep (thanks to the teh tarik)
- Gained 2 kg (i weighed myself this morning, and i thought i lost 2 kg)
The food was really really really really good though.
Did i mention my cousin ate the most?
:P

No Higher Calling
I went to Penang Prayer Conference on Friday night, held in FGA Air Itam. I was very encouraged to see hundreds of Penang Christians from different churches gathered together, just to worship God, and pray for our homeland, Malaysia. There's one thing that really hit my heart, which caused quite a mixture of feelings of both happy and sad. I was happy because there're lots of uncles and aunties who were very passionate, and really have the heart to see the nation to be changed, to be touched by God. Esp this really old lady who sat in front of me. She had pure white hair, but her heart of worship just really really amazed me. Anyway, I felt sad because I didn't really see lots of young people. (uncles aunties - 70%, young ppl - 25%, kids - 5%) I was like, where are the young people?? And this nation needs us! The new generation!! To rise up!! I really pray that God will continue to stir the hearts of this new generation, who have the passion and fire for Jesus; who know that they are the royal Princes and Princesses of our King; who dream BIG (not just working in the office and go to church every Sunday, unless that's your dream.). God wants to partner with us! To shake the world together!!
There's one worship song that we sang during the conference which really spoke to me. It's quite an old song (so old until I couldn't find out who composed the song.) But it's a very powerful and humble song.
No Higher Calling
Down at Your feet, O Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
I seek Your face
I seek Your face
There is no higher calling
No greater honour
Than to bow and kneel before Your throne
I'm amazed at Your glory
Embraced by Your mercy
O Lord, I live to worship You.
Amen. We indeed live just to worship our King. =)

Shout unto God
Shout unto God - Hillsong United
The enemy has been defeated
And death couldn't hold You down
We're gonna lift our voice in victory
We're gonna make Your praises loud
Shout unto God with a voice of triumph
Shout unto God with a voice of praise
Shout unto God with a voice of triumph
We lift Your name up!
We lift Your name up!
On the seventh day, they got up at day break and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the people, "Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. ..."
When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city.
- Joshua 6:15-17, 20

Who do you say He is?
Shout Your Fame - Hillsong Australia
Some say You're just a good man
Some say You were kind
Some say You are in the grave
But I say You're alive
Some say You're just a prophet
Some say You were wise
Some say You were just a man
But I say You are God
You are my God
I will shout Your fame to all the earth
I will lift Your name on high
And the world will know Your greatness
You are my God Jesus I will
Shout Your fame to all the earth
I will lift Your name on high
I will show the world Your goodness
As I live a life that shout Your fame
I know You're the Messiah
You gave Your life for me
And I know You're the only way
Jesus You are God
You are my God
Jesus I decide to live
Live a life that shout Your fame
Shout Your fame!
Shout Your fame

How to stop boys from playing Dota and WOW
I just read my friend's post, about how to stop boys from playing Dota and WOW. I think it's very good and funny, so decided to copy it.
ok when u have a boyfriend that makes u really angry because they play too much of DOTA? WOW?
here's the Society for the prevention of neglect from Dota and WOW boys. SPNDW
the syndrome includes boys who get too engaged in the game till they basically survive like 24 hrs in the room, breathing and eating and peeing and everything to do with DOTA and WOW.
So, how do we prevent this?
tactic:
1) send him a virus, thru his DOTA friend's computer. highly reccomended : ) yay!
2) go to his house and trash his comp, and take away all his CDs : ) double yay! not recommended, unless u have dee guts to do this
3) tell his mom? or maybe his dad. so that they will nag him till he cannot take it anymore
4) somehow, create a scenario when he can break his hands....like playing football.
5) if u can't beat him, join him at his game, so work your Dota n WOW skills, and beat him, that will SO CRUSH HIS EGO that he will never play dota again
6) pray that God disciplines him
7) pray that GOd really disciplines him
8) pray that God really really disciplines him.
(Wee X.Y., 2007)
Hehehe... quite good right??? So boys... beware of your girlfriends now!!!

All For Love
Sorry guys about my old blog (tianahtian.blogspot.com). It is officially 'dead'. I can't even remember my username and password, that shows how "hardworking" I am in blogging. LOL... I promise I will update my blog more frequent now ok? Give me a nudge if I haven't updated for a month.
This is my recent favourite song, from Hillsong Ultimate Worship album.
All For Love - Hillsong Australia
All for love a Father gave
For only love can make a way
All for love the heavens cried
For love was crucified
Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive, if only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me
Everything I need is You
My beginning my forever
Everything I need is You
Let me sing all for love
I would join the angel song
Ever holy is the Lord
King of glory, King of all
All for love a Saviour prayed
Abba Father have Your way
Though they know not what they do
Let the cross draw men to You
Everything I need is You
My beginning my forever
Everything I need is You
I guess this song spoke to me 'cause recently I felt I always fell. I felt I have broken His heart many many times, yet He still forgive me once I repent, and He still loves me. I pray that I won't take His grace and love for granted anymore. This reminds me the psalm I read today. Psalm 51. I'll highlight the verses that spoke to me.
Have mercy on me, O God,
according to Your unfailing love;
according to Your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. (v. 1-2)
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from Your presence
or take Your Holy Spirit from me,
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me (v.10-12)
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
and sinners will turn back to You. (v. 13)
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, You will not despise. (v. 17)
Amen!
