Senior: So even if last year they did wrongly, you also followed them??
Me: Errr... ok, i will redo it again.

Scenario 2
Senior: How come you didn't write this section?
Me: I'm not too sure how to do it.
Senior: Look at last year file la!

Heavenly Father, You know, that this Friday is the 50th annivesary of my nation being independent. I thank You Lord, for giving us the freedom of having our own country, our own nation. I thank You for all the leaders who led and serve this country for the past 50 years.

But God, I pray for Your presence and glory to fill this nation. I pray for more nation leaders who run after You to rise up! I pray for UNITY of the churches. For i believe, that only the churches of Jesus Christ can make a huge impact to the community and nation. I pray that the Christians will continue to stand firm in You despite facing persecutions and hardships, for You always show Your favour, goodness and mercy to us. I pray that i will continue to have the faith to see the vision You gave me, seeing millions of ppl bow down and worship You, to come to past. Prepare me and equip me Lord, for the ministries You want me serve in the future for this nations. Can't wait for the day of revival to come. But i will continue to have the patience and faith to wait upon You. Let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done. In the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Love Thy Enemy?

Being a follower of Christ is just like being a person who are totally different from the world. I guess personally i haven't really tasted how the world like until i started working. The job i had in melbourne last time didn't really count as there were only very few of us in the office. And my big boss and i went to the same church there as well. Quite a comfort zone i must say, but no challenge, so can't really learn much.

I think God really opened my eyes to see how the world are really like after i started work. I could able to observe the human nature (good and bad) in my work place. And i was quite... worried i think... at first. I was thinking about all the office politics i heard from my relatives and friends. But it wasn't that bad la. Until recently where i always heard about this person in my department, like how he treated other people etc... (bad one la). So i try to avoid him la. But for some wierd reason (i think it's God), we are in the same job -_-". Always happened that way!!! Whenever i don't like a person, God will always arrange something that me and that person work together or team up together or something. Really stretching me man!! Anyway, i think what other ppl told me about him really influenced my judgement on him. I also started to dislike him. And last week, he did something that me and another colleague complained like siao...

So during friday CG time, during worship session, i was just complaining to God about how much i don't like him bla bla bla... Then suddenly God said "Romans 12". So i quickly went to read up. The verses that struck me, was v. 20 and 21:

"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."
21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. - Romans 12: 20-21

Wahh... God! Loving the enemy is really hard la!! But... actually after that i think about it, he is not my enemy at all, he is just probably an E.G.R. person (Extra Grace Required). If God told us to show kindness to our enemy, what's more to a person like him? And, miraculously, ever since then, i'm able to see differently about him. That reminds me of a song by Reuben Morgan about asking God to let us see the world through His eyes. We human might hate/discriminate certain people, but God loves them, coz He created them, they are His lost sheep who need a Shepherd. I guess seeing them through His eyes helps me to able to love the unlovable, and care for the unwanted by the world. Isn't I myself was a sinner as well? But because of His unfailing love and amazing grace that accepts me of who i am, right now i can live a life that fulls of joy and peace. We shall show the same thing to the ppl in this world, telling them about the goodness of this Jesus, and the freedom we have. =) I shall end this post with the song:

what happen to my Malaysia?

I was going to sleep initially (it's 12.13am now). But I came across news in Malaysia from thestar.com, and i felt all the fire burning inside me. I don't think i can sleep, but just want to pour out my thoughts here.

Firstly, a malaysian man who get married in Canada, now wanting to plant and pastor an independent church in malaysia by 2010. Sounds great? But, he is gay. And yes it's a gay marriage. Sorry i know right now tian tian sounds a bit harsh and mean. Plant a church that encourages gay/lesbian in Malaysia? Sorry la, i probably will be the first one to quit my job and run back to Malaysia and protest. Not like i don't accept gay/lesbian. I have gay/lesbian friends and they are fine with me. We Christians are called to make disciple of all nations, to be the salt and light of the world. And we, are called to LOVE others as ourselves. But it is very clearly stated in the bible that homosexuality is a sin. But God doesn't hate them. He loves them, He just hate the sin. He just doesn't like His children can't fully experience the freedom of Christ and the purpose of why He created them. Why go and open a church that in the first place already miss out the point? People who already got bondages, continue to get more bondages??? My friend was asking me, what will God think about this, i replied, i think He will be like this --> -_-"" I think He will be seriously heart-broken... Oh God, i pray that You will open the man's eyes, to see and fully understand why Your Son died on the cross, and the purpose You created us. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

2ndly, another independent church in Malaysia that practises wierd things eg. the church members cannot make contacts with outsiders; the pastor prayed for the church members (esp ladies) to have good bodies. -_-" Apa ini??? I felt sooo... (can't even express my feelings)...

What happen to my home? My Malaysia? And her 50th birthday is just around the corner. But so many things happened recently, esp. those issues that really challenged the malaysia churches. O Lord, look at Your nations, Malaysia. I really don't know why all these things happen. But i just pray one thing, just one thing, that the churches in Malaysia will be united as ONE Body of Christ, to face the world, to face the challenges, to shine Your glory to the nations, to bring lights to the world. Lord, i know the revival for Malaysia is coming. I pray Lord, that You will prepare all the believers who have the heart for Malaysia (include myself) to become nation-changers. And i pray Lord, You will rise us up when the time is right. Make us strong and courages. I will stand for You. I will battle for You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

O Praise Him

Yea~~ praise God!! He has been so good to me in every area of my life!

Let me share about the most recent one. 3 weeks ago, my department was planning to have a trip to Pulau Bintan on 15-17 September. Sounds really exciting, as all my seniors said the trip will be the only time to get to know each other and build relationships (from partners to managers to seniors to juniors). So yes, I want to go. On the same Sunday, during church service, they announced to the church that they are going to have a worship conference, J.U.M.P. (Jesus You Must Praise!). When? 16-17 Sept. (Whaaaattt????!!!!) and 15 Sept is my church anniversary... (more sweat...) If you guys really really know know me, I always have the heart for worship ministry, and i love to know more and learn more about worship ministry. So I was really really in dilemma. Company trip? or Worship Conference?? So for the next 2 weeks, I was praying and asking God, which one You want me to go? And the deadline for the worship conference was really soon!!

Then, jang jang jang... miracles happened. Last week, my department trip manager-in-charge said they decided to cancel the Pulau Bintan trip, only go Sentosa for a one-day trip (on 14 Sept). (WWWAAAHHHH~~~~) Praise God man!! Although i heard lots of disappointing complaints from my colleagues, but i knew, I KNEW!! God did this for me man!! Now i can go BOTH! What a perfect PLAN!! (although later I was told to be incharged of the games during the trip -_-", no complains loh!!)
